Foundations in Fabrication

Start your welding and/or manufacturing career with a solid base of skills in industry math practices, measurement, blueprint reading, metallurgy and planning. Throughout the course you will learn shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding as well as mill and lathe operations. Students get hands on practice in both welding processes and equal time in practicing machining processes. OSHA 10 instruction is included. This course meets 2 days a week: Thursday evening 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday morning 8:00am to 11:00am. 
Prerequisites: High school diploma or equivalent.
