Being skilled in welding or machining require reading blueprints, interpreting symbols and calculating measurements accurately to produce components and welds that meet your employer's and your customer's satisfaction. Whether you are new to fabrication or need a technical tune-up, you will complete this class mastering metrics, metric conversions, interpreting drawing lines and welding symbols, scaling orthographic views. This is a classroom course that complements most of our welding and machining programs. 
PREREQUISITES: Some welding/machining experience or a current student of welding/machining.
