The American Welding Society developed guidelines that our instructors follow that lead the student to proficiency in safey, practical knowledge and performance to earn the Entry Level Welder Certification. With this credential employers know that the student can read and interpret drawings and symbols, can follow written procedures, can cut parts to size. Successful students master a variety of welding processes. This credential bears significant recognition throughout the industry nationwide.
Prerequisites: High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of Foundations in Fabrication, or 2-year vocational welding program, or by qualifying test.
