Basic Sailing Course

SEAS is a not-for-profit 501c (3) educational organization dedicated to teaching basic sailing with the emphasis on safety. Learn theory in the classroom and technique on board both single-sail and multi-sail boats on the safety of Budd Lake. SEAS certified instructors teach all courses. Successful students receive a SEAS Certificate in Basic Sailing and current year membership in SEAS. $200 Eight (8) hours/(4) sessions of classroom training + Sixteen (16) hours/(2) supervised sailing sessions on Budd Lake. 
PREREQUISITE: Any student under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students must weigh at least 85 lbs, and must be able to float. Each student must supply a PFD (life jacket) for water sessions.
