If you are interested in working in the animal field but wish to take a more introductory program, you will find this one provides a solid foundation - perfect for pet sitters, dog groomers and boarding kennel staff. Critical topics in animal care that are discussed include anatomy, common diseases and their treatments, body language and handling of both dogs and cats, as well as a brief introduction into other species. Learn about the range of career options that are availbale working with animals. Students can be sure the knowledge they gain will help them in any future endeavour. 
PREREQUISITE: High school diploma or equivalent.
